- Profile photos are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.
- Temporary access credentials expire automatically and cannot be reused.
- We implement row-level security policies to ensure users can only access data they are authorized to see.
6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- Entry verification logs are retained for building security and audit purposes.
- Guest invite records are retained while active and for a reasonable period after expiration.

- Withdraw consent for push notifications or location sharing (via device settings or app settings)
- Opt out of non-essential communications
To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.
8. Camera & Photo Access
- The app requests camera access solely to scan QR codes for building entry verification.
- The app requests photo library access solely to allow you to upload a profile picture.
- We do not access your camera or photos for any other purpose.
9. Push Notifications
- We send push notifications to inform you of guest arrivals and other building access events.
- You can enable or disable notifications in the app settings or your device settings.
10. Location Data
Resident Location (Background)
- If you enable “Location Sharing” in the app settings, Entria uses geofencing to detect when you approach your building. This works in the background, even when the app is not open.
- When you enter the geofence area around your building, the app sends your approximate location to our server to verify proximity. The server then notifies the on-duty security guard that you are approaching and sends you a notification to open your entry credential.
- This feature is entirely opt-in. You must explicitly enable it and grant “Allow all the time” location permission. You can disable it at any time in the app settings.
- Location data is only used to determine proximity to your registered building. We do not track your movements, build location profiles, or use location data for advertising.
- Proximity events are rate-limited to prevent excessive data collection (at most once per 15 minutes per building).
Guard Location (Foreground Only)
- When security guards have the app open, the app periodically reports their location to verify they are on-site at their assigned building.
- This data is used solely to determine whether to send proximity notifications about approaching residents to guards who are actually present at the building.
- Guard location is only collected while the app is in the foreground and is not tracked in the background.
- Location reports older than 30 minutes are considered stale and are no longer used.
General Location Practices
- We do not sell, share, or disclose location data to any third parties.
- Location data is not used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to building access.
- You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings or within the app.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
